ASSESSMENT SYSTEM
Assigning weightage to Co-scholastic areas for Promotion purpose. The grades in co-scholastic areas will be awarded overall grade as per the following procedure:
The grades obtained in different co-scholastic will be converted into grade points by using the following conversion scale:
Academic session is divided into two terms.
- 1st Term- April to September
- 2nd Term- October to March
At the end of every term exams will be conducted. Project based learning will be undertaken by subject teachers as per CBSE Guidelines.
For Promotion to Class XII
Minimum 33% in aggregate as well as in individual subjects-both theory and practical is compulsory for promotion.
Less than 33% in one Subject
An Improvement Exam will be conducted once. If candidate fails in one subject, additional subject marks will be added, If candidate fails in two subject he/she has to appear in Retest.
Detention in Class XI if
Less than 33% in more than two subjects (Theory/Practical/Aggregate)
